Op. Dr. Dilek Avşar was born in 1973 in Tekirdağ as the daughter of teacher parents.
She graduated from Bursa Uludağ University Medical School in 1997.
She was awarded the title of Plastic Surgeon after completing her specialisation in Trakya University Medical School, Plastic Surgery Department in 2007.
In 2009, she started working with her husband, Op. Dr. Yakup Avşar, in service of patients in Private Avşar Polyclinic in Levent, İstanbul.
Op. Dr. Dilek Avşar focused on breast surgery in her study titled “Anthropometric Breast Measurement in Young Women” which was her dissertation for completing her plastic surgery specialization. This study was published in ‘Aesthetic Surgery Journal’, one of the most prestigious aesthetic surgery journals in the world.
